Coleman LED Lantern Review - Why You Should Buy Coleman

My better half actually won this through some contests online and we're quite pleased and surprised to see it. When we got it used it on a few camping trips - car camping tent knit trailer or whatever where we  pack something like this in our camping gear.

Overview

This thing is really sweet. It's called the coleman quad LED lantern. The biggest downfall on this is that it takes 8 D cell batteries so that's a little bit spendy to be putting those batteries in there. But it says you should get 75 hours of runtime off of those batteries. So if you weigh out your options on how much you spend on propane especially if you're buying the little propane bottles hooked to your lantern. Probably it's going to work out to be less expensive than running those small propane bottles hung lantern.

Features of This Lantern

Some of the coolest things about this lantern is its 24 LED lights, light bulbs and 4 panels so it's 360. It puts out 190 lumens as a whole unit. But the coolest part about it is especially if you have kids in there and they need to find their way to the bathroom in the evening or whatever you just push this button at the top of each one of these panels and it disconnects and you can take it with you.

Each one of these has a rechargeable battery in it which it charges off of the D cells that you run the lantern off of the runtime on the single unit is an hour and a half once you've unhooked it. I don't know with the lighting how well you can see them. The next cool thing about this is - these lanterns are made of a material are designed to be reduced the glare. So it puts out a bright light without being blinding glare. So yeah it's got a handle on it on the top when you disconnect each one of these. It has its own handle and its own switch pretty handy.

Conclusion

This is one of the coolest lanterns I've ever had or used so I just had to show it to you guys if you haven't seen it already check it out if you're looking for a new battery-powered Lantern I definitely recommend going with this thing. It's pretty cool especially with the kids like I say and got a couple different kids going in different directions with when it's dark. Send them with their own thing you still have one hanging or sitting on the picnic table or whatever the case may be. When they come back just pop them back in the charge.
